
Hi, I'm Barb Shannon. I’m a Registered Social Worker, Collaborative Divorce Family Professional, and Founder of Vitality Counselling Services. For over 24 years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting individuals (11+), couples, and families through life’s challenges.
I offer a down-to-earth, compassionate approach to counselling and mediation services. I strive to meet you where you are at and help you get to where you want to go. My goal is to provide insight, support, and skill building in a relaxed, comfortable counselling environment, so you can achieve your personal goals.
My clients tell me that my energetic, friendly, genuine, yet direct style that often involves the use of humour, is what they value the most in me as a Counsellor/Therapist. My natural and authentic approach to building relationships allows me to quickly develop trust, which is extremely important to the therapeutic process.
Through a strengths-based and client-directed approach, I work with you to establish realistic and attainable therapeutic goals. My practice draws upon a unique blend of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mediation/Collaborative Practice. I am extremely committed to regular and on-going training so I can offer the highest level of current and evidence-based therapy to my clients.

Hi, I'm Filomena Doroslovac. I'm a Registered Social Worker with 23+ years of experience. I have a passion for working with children 11+ and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions and more who want to develop healthier ways of coping. As a parent myself I understand how overwhelming it can be when our child is struggling. I’ve worked with many parents across multiple settings helping them better understand their child’s behaviour problems so they can respond with greater understanding, patience, and confidence at home.
My natural curiosity and warmth helps clients feel heard and accepted. My therapeutic approach combines CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique journey and challenges. I’m committed to ongoing learning, regularly engaging in training and certification in evidence-based techniques.
My goal is to help clients develop deeper insight, greater self-awareness, and healthier coping skills, empowering them to face life’s challenges with confidence.

Hi, I'm Chloe Stroud. I am a Registered Social Worker who believes everyone has inherent strength, resilience, and wisdom. My role is to honor autonomy and walk alongside clients as the expert of their own life.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals 11+ to explore their experiences and challenges, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to their needs. My practice is neuro-affirming approach, recognizing that every mind is unique, and that neurological diversity is something to be celebrated.
Whether clients are new to therapy or have been on this journey for a while, I am here to walk alongside them with kindness, patience, and understanding. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Together, we’ll honor where you are right now and work toward where you want to be.
